Zee5’s popular romantic original web series ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend’ is back with a second season and going by the recently launched trailer the love is getting crowded this time. Helmed by Harsh Dedhia, ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend’ season two is all set to premiere on Zee5 on 29th April, 2022.
The trailer begins with Tanie Brar (Anya Singh) living a new life filled with drama and trauma, building her career and leaving the past of being the school and college topper and a best-selling author behind her. She even comes across a cute, nerdy, hot guy Karan (Karan Wahi) and sparks start to fly.
On the other hand is a focused, ambitious young woman, played by Sarah Jane Dias, who takes up a new project whose success will determine her future and she is ready to do all that’s needed to make it happen. And for that she ropes in Sumer Singh Dhillon, the award winning director, to work on the project.
But the twist is that this project is written by Tanie who has had a past with Sumer. While initially she is not okay working with Sumer given her past, their friendship and understanding for each other soon helps them sort things out.
This whole situation gets a whole lot complicated for both Tanie and Sumer though. There seems to be something going on between the boss and Sumer and then there’s Tanie’s dilemma of choosing between her bae on one hand and her bff on the other. In fact the comfort level Tanie and Sumer share becomes a factor of jealousy and insecurity for Karan.
With so much going on in each of their lives, how will things get sorted? Will the project be a success or get tossed in all the romantic angles doing rounds? The love is surely a bit too crowded in ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend’ season 2.
Harsh Dedhia has directed Zee5’s ’Never Kiss Your Best Friend’ season 2 and stars Nakuul Mehta, Anya Singh, Karan Wahi, Sarah Jane Dias, Javed Jaffrey and Niki Walia among others. ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend’ season 2 will premiere on Zee5 on 29th April, 2022.
