Fans are celebrating Ranbir’s much-anticipated return to the rom-com genre. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the movie also starring Shraddha Kapoor, will have its title revealed tomorrow. For today, the makers have given fans an interesting exercise: To guess its name, with the first letters of the four-word title being revealed to be ‘TJMM’.
The move has done its job brilliantly and Twitter is already on fire, trying to get the title right. Given that the movie is to be a rom-com, here are some interesting guesses from fans:
The guesses are innumerable and some are equally bizarre like ‘Tu Jaundice Mein Malaria’ and ‘Tu Janthesh mein Minnama’. Someone even opined that the makers had best keep the title as just that- ‘TJMM’, but considering Ranjan’s history with his movies’ names, we’d better expect a quirky and long one tomorrow.
Touted to be set in the rom-com genre, the film will be Ranjan’s return to the director’s hat after 2018’s ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. Known for his own unique genre of filmmaking featuring relatively lesser-known actors, it would be interesting to see how the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ director will incorporate huge stars like Ranbir and Shraddha into his story. While there are rumours that the film will have Ranbir as a love guru, it is just a whiff of air as of now. The secrecy around the film is in fact keeping the fans hooked for anything, so much so that phone-shot images of the shoot are getting hashtags running.
While Ranbir’s last release ‘Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva’ was in September, we haven’t seen Shraddha in a major role on the big screen for some time now. Save her cameo in ‘Thumkeshwari’ song in ‘Bhediya’, the star was last seen in 2020 in ‘Bhaagi 3’ opposite Tiger Shroff.
‘TJMM’ will be bringing together the two stars who have interestingly never shared the screen before. Set to release during Holi on 8 March 2023, the movie from the looks of it will be an entertainer like no other.
