Shraddha Srinath seems to be the heroine of Digital Releases these days. The actress is going to have three films skipping their theatrical release, more than any other heroine of Indian Cinema. Her Telugu film, Krishna and His Leela already released online on Netflix and got good applause from the audience.
In her next Tamil film, Maara in which she paired opposite Madhavan is also taking the same route. The film is scheduled to Premiere on the leading OTT Platform, Amazon Prime Video on 17th December 2020 as Christmas Special. The film directed by Dhilip Kumar is an adaptation of the Malayalam film Charlie (2015) by Martin Prakkat.
Reports are that another film of her, Chakra is also gearing up for release online. The movie should have already released if not for some legal issues. Vishal, the protagonist and the producer of the film is busy resolving the issues and will very soon announce the release plan. The actress dons Khaki for the first time in Chakra. She will be seen as ACP Gayathri in the movie. So that will be three films for her releasing online which is quite a feat. The actress has three films under various stages of production – Godhra, and Rudraprayaga in Kannada and Narudi Brathuku Natana in Telugu.
