Maddock Films Reveals Massive 15+ Movies Slate

If there’s one film production house that’s going great guns in Indian cinema, it is Maddock Films. The film production house enjoyed the success of Bhediya last year, along with the recent hit release Zara Bachke Zara Hatke. It also had two well-received OTT titles this year – Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga on Netflix, and Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Now, the production house has announced a new slate of movies that it will release in the coming months. The films will release on both, on OTT as well as in theatres, though there’s no information on the release strategy for the titles yet.

Here are the films announced by Maddock Films this afternoon –

1. An untitled film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, described as “an impossible love story.”

2. “Sector 36,” starring Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal, a thriller directed by debutant director Aditya Nimbalka.

3. “Happy Teachers Day,” starring Nimrat Kaur and Radhika Madan, directed by Mikhil Musale – thriller-drama.

4. “Pooja Meri Jaan,” a drama-thriller starring Mrunal Thakur, Huma Qureshi and Vijay Raaz, directed by Navjot Gulati and co-directed by Vipasha Arvind.

5. “Sarvgunn Sampann,” a family comedy starring Vaani Kapoor and Ishwak Singh, directed by Sonali Rattan Deshmukh.

6. “Murder Mubarak,” starring Sara Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Tripathi and Karisma Kapoor, directed by Homi Adajania – murder mystery.

7. “Rumi Ki Sharafat,” a comedy starring Radhika Madan and Varun Sharma, directed by Prashant Bhagia.

8. “Munjya,” starring Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar – horror comedy.

9. “Tehran,” starring John Abraham, Manushi Chhillar and Neeru Bajwa, directed by Arun Gopalan – action thriller.

10. “Ikkis,” starring Dharmendra and Agastya Nanda, directed by Sriram Raghavan – action drama

11. .“Chhaava,” starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, directed by Laxman Utekar – period action drama.

12. “VOV – Vampires Of Vijay Nagar” – horror comedy

13. “Shiddat 2,” starring Sunny Kaushal and Parineeti Chopra, directed by Karan Sharma – love story.

14. “Stree 2,” starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurrana. directed by Amar Kaushik – horror comedy.

15. “Bhediya 2,” starring Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, directed by Amar Kaushik – creature comedy.

16. “Arabian Nights,” film series – “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves,” “Aladdin” and “Sinbad.”
