Amazon Prime Video has dropped the trailer of the much awaited second season of its popular series ‘Made In Heaven’ and its going to be all glam, scandalous and much more once again. Created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, ‘Made In Heaven’ season 2 will premiere only on Amazon Prime Video on 10th August, 2023.
‘Made In Heaven’ season 2 trailer reveals how Tara (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Karan (Arjun Mathur), the iconic high end wedding planners are back to plan some exquisite, lavish, larger than life big fat Indian weddings. But this time they are being cautious with the budget as they have on board people like Vijay Raaz and Mona Singh to guide them through the business and financials.
The weddings they are planning are not without their complexities. From racial prejudices, homophobia, physical and mental abuse, to many other underlying and suppressed issues there’s a lot going on. Meanwhile, Tara and Karan’s personal lives are going through a rough patch too. While Tara is disturbed with her divorce, Karan’s dying mother wishes him to get married while he is still trying to figure out his financial troubles.
In ‘Made In Heaven’ season 2 financial challenges, a depleted client roster, and a crumbling bungalow for an office forces wedding planners Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra to adapt to a new uncomfortable status quo. With repercussions being felt in their personal lives as well, the pair continue to deliver fairytale weddings. But beneath the glitz and glamour of Delhi weddings lie prejudices that are as deep-rooted as its traditions.
