Actress Michelle Pfeiffer will be producing and starring in the upcoming show from the Yellowstone universe. The show will be a spin-off and it has been titled as ‘Madison’.
The series was previously known as ‘2024’ and caused huge anticipation among fans. Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone is an Academy Award nominated director and he will be associated with the new series as well. Kurt Russell and Patrick J. Adams have also been approached for other roles in the show.
The first season of ‘Yellowstone’ came out in 2018 and went on to be highly popular with critics and audiences alike. There have been five seasons of the show so far. There have already been two spin-offs from the Yellowstone universe. They are ‘1883: A Yellowstone Origin Story’ and ‘1923: A Yellowstone Origin Story’. The growing popularity of the show has paved the way for another series. There had been talks of Matthew McConaughey starring in the series but finally it is Michelle Pfeiffer who will lead the show and it will be the story of a matriarch. Pfeiffer will play the role of Stacy Clyburn, a wealthy businesswoman who has to leave New York City and come to Madison River Valley of central Montana with her whole family when her husband and brother-in-law die suddenly in a plane crash.
