Young Hero Nithin’s Maestro is the first Telugu film to think of Direct-to-OTT release after COVID second wave. The movie was previously announced for the September 9th release. But with Natural Star Nani’s Tuck Jagadish arriving on September 10th, Maestro got postponed and is now arriving on September 17th on Disney + Hotstar Multistar.
There have been a lot of discussions about if Tuck Jagadish and Maestro will brandish swords and make it the first-ever OTT clash. But better sense prevailed and the clash is averted. This is a sane idea because both the OTT platforms have invested huge amounts in acquiring these films and it makes no sense to kill the purpose of competing.
The recently released trailer of the film is neatly cut and managed to create some interest in the movie. Maestro is the official remake of Bollywood Blockbuster, Andhadhun. Nabha Natesh has paired opposite Nithiin in the crime comedy. Tamannah reprises the role of Tabu from the original. Mahati Swara Sagar who gave a chartbuster album for Bheeshma is working for the second time with Nithiin. The young actor whose last film, Rang De did not perform up to the potential has pinned high hopes on this film.
