Mahershala Ali To Join Scarlett Johansson In Jurassic World Sequel?

Mahershala Ali is now in talks for a major role in a new ‘Jurassic World’ movie. The ‘Moonlight’ actor will be visiting the Isla Nublar with some other A-listers. The already announced cast includes actors like Scarlett Johansson, Rupert Friend, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo etc.

Mahershala Ali has made a huge name for himself with wonderful performances in ‘Greenbook’, ‘Moonlight’, ‘Swan Song’ etc. He got the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in ‘Moonlight’. Ali’s coming to the Jurassic World series will be a huge treat for the fans.

The first Jurassic World movie came out in 2015 as an spin-off extension to Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park and it got positive reviews from critics and audiences. That resulted in two more Jurassic World movies: one in 2018 named ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ and the other in 2022 named ‘Jurassic World Dominion’. All three movies have Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in leading roles. However, Mahershala’s Jurassic world will have a change in the leading cast.

The movie has not been titled yet, but it will be directed by Gareth Edwards. The screenplay will be from David Koepp, who also wrote the original Jurassic Park movie. This movie is said to be the part of a new trilogy. Further details will be revealed soon.
