Telugu star Mahesh Babu’s latest film Sarkaru Vaari Paata hit theatres on May 13. To the surprise of trade pundits, the film soon began streaming on pay per view, on the Prime Video Rental Store, after only three weeks of its theatrical release.
Regular Prime Video subscribers were naturally not too happy with Sarkaru Vaari Paata streaming on pay per view on the platform. Most people vented their displeasure on social media, about the film coming on TVOD.
Well, now Prime Video has disclosed the date when Sarkaru Vaari Paata will arrive on regular subscription-based streaming on the platform. The OTT giant has disclosed the regular OTT release date of Sarkaru Vaari Paata as June 23. That means Prime Video subscribers will be able to watch Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata on Prime Video at no extra cost from June 23.
Telugu film Sarkaru Vaari Paata is written and directed by Parasuram. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Keerthy Suresh, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju in pivotal roles. Thaman has given the music for Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata is currently streaming on Prime Video on pay per view. Only the original Telugu version of Sarkaru Vaari Paata is available to stream as of now. Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi dubbed versions may be available at a later date on Prime Video.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata will stream for regular subscribers on SVOD on Prime Video from June 23.
