Binged reported last week that Anek is finally getting the appreciation it deserves on OTT. Not only did it spark a series of talks on the internet but also translated into views.
But at the same time, Adivi Sesh starrer Major dropped on Netflix on 3rd July. Having a competition between two buzzy films, it was natural for one movie to dominate the charts.
Last week, it was Major. The film is bilingual and released in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam audios. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any update so far about the Tamil and Kannada audio of the film.
Regardless, talking about the results, Major garnered great views in both Hindi and Telugu. Both audios of the film found a place in the Global Top 10 Most watched non-English film
The Hindi version was the second most-watched film globally while the Telugu version was in 8th position.
Thankfully, 4 Indian films (5 Titles including Hindi and Telugu audio of Major) made it to the list. However, the watch hours are not something to be happy after.
The most surprising entry in the list is that of Operation Romeo. Netflix didn’t even promote the film and it still managed to climb up.
