Netflix is making a big-budget film starring Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Ana De Armas and of course our beloved Dhanush. The action drama is based on a CIA officer who is escaping from assassins after he learns some unwanted secrets.
In the film, Ryan Gosling will play the rogue CIA agent and Chris Evans his former colleague wants to hunt him down. You may find similarities with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s “War” but this is just the synopsis and the actual story might be a lot different.
The film will land on Netflix on 22nd July but the makers are already planning a prequel to the same. Empire magazine broke the news which said that the plans are in a very early stage involving Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
The prequel will focus on the character of Chris Evans. The screenwriters of Deadpool are the ones to write the film. Nothing more about the prequel is known at this stage.
Not only a prequel but a direct sequel to The Gray Man is also being considered. Marvel writer Stephen McFeely will pen the project having Ryan Gosling in the lead.
On a budget of $200 Million, The Grey Man will be the most expensive Netflix original film to date. All we need to do is to wait for a few more months for the film to arrive.
