The trailer for Malaikottai Vaaliban is out now! The upcoming Mohanlal starrer is undoubtedly one of the highly anticipated Malayalam movies of 2024. It will arrive in theatres on January 25.
The latest clip is nothing short of a visual spectacle. It largely benefits from Madhu Neelakandan’s vibrant and mesmerising cinematographical work. In addition, the BGM and production sets are looking outstanding. All these factors, along with Mohanlal’s prominence, may make the forthcoming period action drama a blockbuster.
Made on a budget of 100 crores, Malaikottai Vaaliban may emerge as the first Malayalam grand hit of 2024. Besides the great Mohanlal, the film’s cast has talents like Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Suchithra Nair, Manoj Moses, Danish Sait, Katha Nandi, and more. It will be Mohanlal’s first film of 2024. After this one, the actor will star in Barroz, Vrushabha, Kannappa, and Ram: Part 1 this year.
Co-producer Shibu Baby John has hailed the Mohanlal starrer as a “complete action cinema”. In addition, the leading man has confirmed that the project has no set period and has been treated like a Western flick.
Jallikattu fame Lijo Jose Pellissery has helmed Malaikottai Vaaliban. In addition to his directional duties, Pellissery also co-wrote the film’s script with P. S. Rafeeque. Madhu Neelakandan worked on the cinematography. On the other hand, Deepu S. Joseph and Prashant Pillai took care of the film’s editing and music departments, respectively. Check out the trailer below!
