After getting a phenomenal box office response Mohanlal’s ‘Thudarum’ is finally set for its OTT debut five weeks post theatrical release instead of the usual four. Helmed by Tharun Moorthy, ‘Thudarum’ is all set to launch on Jio Hotstar on 30th May, 2025 in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.
Set in a quiet hill town, ‘Thudarum’ is a crime thriller drama that follows a humble ex-stuntman turned taxi driver Shanmughan (Mohanlal) who treasures his black ambassador car more than anything. A mysterious turn of events puts him in a spot and he must decide how far he is willing to go for what he holds dear.
Tharun Moorthy directs ‘Thudarum’ that also stars Shobana, Prakash Varma, Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Bindu Pappu, Irshad Ali, Adarsha Chandini Baiju, Thomas Mathew, Sangeeth Prathap and Krishna Prabha.
‘Thudarum’ wasn’t just a commercial success but also received praise from critics. The film has been applauded as one of the finest Indian revenge thrillers with amazing performances and one that doesn’t compromise on any aspect whether it’s technical or creative.
