From the makers of audience’ favourite ‘Thanneer mathan Dinangal’, here’s another Malayalam Blockbuster coming of age comedy drama film ‘Super Sharanya‘. The film will have a Zee5 premiere on March 11th, 2022. It already had a theatrical release on 7th January, 2022 and had a good run at the box-office too.
The story revolves around Sharanya who leaves her small-town in Kollenkode to do Engineering in the city of Thrissur. Sharanya, along-with her roommates navigate through the ups and downs of her college life. Her love-life, hostel-life, friendships and evolution as a person forms the crux of the film.
The film stars Anaswara Rajan in the titular role while Mamitha Baiju, Arjun Ashokan and Naslen K Gafoor plays supporting parts. Super Sharanya is Girish A.D’s second feature film after the sleeper hit Thaneer Mathan Dinangal.
Shebin Backer produced the film, also co-produced by Girish A. D. Sajith Purushan did the cinematography and Akash Joseph Vargheese did the editing. Justin Varghese, who was also the composer of Thanneer Mathan Dinangal composed the music of Super Sharanya as well.
