Highest grossing Malayalam film of all-time, till date ‘2018’ released in theatres earlier this month and is now set for its digital premiere. A survival thriller drama ‘2018’ will start streaming on SonyLIV from 7th June, 2023 onwards.
Based on the actual events during the 2018 Kerala floods, the film unfolds the lives of people from all walks of life who faced catastrophic consequences and the collective efforts put in by the brave people to survive the calamity.
Directed by Jude Anthony Joseph who has written the film alongside Akhil P. Dharmajan, ‘2018’ stars Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Lal and Narain among other cast members.
‘2018’ not only did great at the box office with a collection of ₹100 crores in just 11 days but also received positive reviews from the critics who appreciated the film for its screenplay, cinematography and editing alongside stellar performances from the cast.
Set to premiere on SonyLIV, ‘2018’ will start streaming on digital media from 7th June, 2023 onwards.
