‘Amala’ is a murder mystery thriller movie, directed by Nishad Ebrahim. The film stars Srikanth Krishnamachari, Sarath Appani, Anarkali Marikar and Rajisha Vijayan in lead roles, along with Sajitha Madathil Bitto Davis, Shuhaib Embichi, Nandini Sree, Vaishnavin, among others, in supporting roles.
The psychological murder mystery centres on a brilliant police officer, who must nab the murderer behind a spate of serial killings of young girls that take place in the city overnight. Srikanth Krishnamachari plays the role of the police officer. Anarkali Marikar plays the titular role of Amala in the movie.
