AppleTV+ announced a series based on the assassination of President Abraham Lincon. The limited series would be called Manhunt and is based on a book.
Author James Swanson’s bestselling book “Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer” is the inspiration behind and is one of the many shows under production at AppleTV+.
Regardless, the series has added 7 members to its cast and is almost ready to begin filming.
“13 Reasons Why” fame Brandon Flynn, “Get Out” fame Betty Gabriel, Will Harrison from “Daisy Jones & The Six”, Hamish Linklater from “Midnight Mass” are the members of the cast.
Apart from them the newly announced cast also includes Damian O’Hare from “Perry Mason”, “Gaslit” fame Patton Oswalt and Lili Taylor from “Outer Range”.
The series will revolve around the 12 days of mess which followed in hunting the murderer behind America’s first presidential assassination. The limited series will be filmed like a historical series with a light sprinkle of thrill on it.
Hollywood has produced many movies on Abraham Lincon and sadly none of the prominent ones is streaming in India.
So the series is promising and the cast members are known to the regular binge-watchers. So stay tuned as we will let you know any update which follows on the series.
