French Biryani and Law are the two films from the Kannada film industry that skipped their theatrical release and released directly online. Both films released on Amazon Prime Video and failed to impress the audience. Bheemsena Nalamaharaja and Manne Number 13 are the two upcoming Kannada films that will take the OTT route.
The interest in Bheemsena Nalamaharaja is slightly low because it is a delayed project. The movie was ready in 2018 but could not release. There are decent expectations on Manne Number 13. It is a horror-thriller directed by Vivy Kathiresan. And, it is backed by D Krishna Chaitanya, who has previously made horror hits like 6 – 5 = 2 and Karvva.
It has some good names like Varshan Bollamma and Aishwarya Gowda in its ranks. Usually, it is easy to impress the audience with horror thrillers provided they have decent content. We will get a sniff of the film’s content when the trailer release. The movie is scheduled to be premiered on Amazon Prime Video on November 18th. So, the trailer can be expected in the first week of that month. The movie is a bilingual in Tamil and Kannada. Both the versions will be out on Amazon Prime Video on November 18th.
