Margot Robbie Is Actively Associated With Two Live Adaptation Films

Hold your horses, fans. ‘’Barbie’’ Margot Robbie isn’t really active as an actor in any of these projects but will be acting as a producer for two exciting upcoming projects, and she is definitely riding the live adaptation of board and video games.

See, the dynamics are changing in the industry. Though Comic Book Films are still the big boys, there are other live adaptations that can fight them till death. Though last year Barbie managed to the biggest of them all, it is not the toys but the Video Games which might be the next big hit machines.

And in these two projects, the first one is a video game adaptation, Sims will be getting the live adaptation treatment. But, the makers are probably late regarding this, at least 5 years late.

Especially now as the popularity of Sims games is going downhill rapidly, the number of daily users is decreasing rapidly, the film will definitely be an overkill of the popularity. Though the game is considered a classic favorite of the fans, they might capitalize on this.

The second one is a board game adaptation, not something as complicated as Dungeons & Dragons but Monopoly, the true spirit of capitalism. For this upcoming project, LuckyChap, Robbie’s company, is partnering up with Lionsgate, which can take it to a whole new level with good advertisements.

“Monopoly is a top property — pun fully intended,” said LuckyChap. “Like all of the best IP, this game has resonated worldwide for generations, and we are so excited to bring this game to life alongside the wonderful teams involved at Lionsgate and Hasbro.”
