One of the major attractions of Disney’s soon to be launched Disney Plus streaming service is fresh and exclusive content related to Marvel. A series of shows have been planned which are going to be connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in one way or the other.
We knew about that ever since Disney Plus was rumoured to get going. However, the latest development is going to blow the mind. It is being reported that the Marvel web series created for the streaming platform will be made on budgets closer to the movies. Yes, every single series is expected to cost a staggering 100 million, at the least. The higher-end could go over 150 million.
These sorts of budgets for a series are unheard of before. Only a few episodes of Game of Thrones at its peak popularity had these budgets. It means that Disney Plus is super confident of the success and doesn’t want to go ahead with cheaper versions.
Disney Plus streaming service will start from November 12. The dates of the various shows are also out. The Falcon And The Winter Soldier is going to be the first release. It will be out for streaming in late 2020. The exact date of the premiere is not set yet.
