Marvel Studios continues to feed the hype of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. They released another trailer with new footage of Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch that gave fans a better look to the character. While the Disney Plus series of Mook Knight is on the way to reach fans and the promotional event is going on they are trying to make the hype even.
In the new trailer which came in the Cinemark’s official youtube channel, all the footages are the same except a shot of Scarlet Witch is levitating from the surface in a meditation pose. She is probably using the dark magic of Darkhold which we also saw in the last episode of Wanda Vision.
The movie had created a notion earlier that Scarlet Witch may be playing as an anti-hero exploring her darker side which we saw a glimpse of it in “Wanda Vision”. This new footage gives us a hint as to reason her transformation into a villainous character in the movie.
Scarlet Witch turning into a bad guy will lead to a Doctor Strange vs Scarlet Witch dual. Which will open the doors of magic in Marvel Universe that could stage the events which lead to the upcoming show Agatha: House of Harkness. Marvel hasn’t explored the topic of magic in the Marvel Universe. Doctor Strange 2 will throw some more light to magic with the complexities of the multiverse.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theatres on April 6th, 2022.
