According to Deadline, the studio’s executives are planning to conduct writer meetings this fall for pitches on the forthcoming live-action X-Men movie.
Several insiders have revealed that Marvel will not rush with the X-Men film as it has not been dated yet. We do not know about this project’s theatrical release window. But it is likely to take a long time to come out, considering the studio has yet to finish the productions of Deadpool 3 and the animated series, X-Men ’97.
Speaking of X-Men ’97, we should expect this project to not share any connection with the X-Men film as it will take place after the events of X-Men: The Animated Series (1992-97).

Iman Vellani starrer, Ms. Marvel Disney+ series, was the first MCU entry that officially acknowledged the presence of mutants in the superhero franchise. A character in the show’s end-credits scene uttered the word ‘mutant’, highlighting the emergence of Charles Xavier’s group of superheroes.
