Marvel Studio took to social media today to announce the digital premiere date of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ on Disney+. Sequel to the 2015 film ‘Ant-Man’ and 2018 film ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ will land on Disney+ on 17th May, 2023.
Helmed by Peyton Reed, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ Super-Hero partners Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang.
‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton and Jonathan Majors.
The film released in theatres on 17th February, 2023 and opened to mixed reviews. The star cast received appreciation for their performances alongside good response for the visual effects and music. On the other hand things were critical for the storyline, screenplay and more.
Despite the above, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ managed to do well at the box office and it will be interesting to see how it performs upon its digital release on Disney+ on 17th May, 2023.
