Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Early Reactions Are In

Rest in power, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman)! One of the most highly anticipated superhero movies in recent times, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, recently premiered at Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles. It means that the film’s first reactions have started flooding the internet. Is the sequel a worthy successor to the first Black Panther (2018) film? Does Ryan Coogler’s directional give a perfect tribute to Boseman’s T’Challa? Let’s find out!

Coogler’s return to the kingdom of Wakanda has received acclaim in the early reactions. Critics praised the sequel’s emotional tone and hailed it as a cathartic tribute to Boseman’s legacy. The performances of the cast members, visuals, camera work, Ludwig Goransson’s score, and many more also received praise.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever takes us back to the kingdom of Wakanda, suffering the tragic loss of king T’Challa. People there unite to honour their late leader’s memory and stand against a new foe, Namor, the king of Talokan, an ancient underwater civilisation. Most of the cast from the first film returns in the sequel: Letitia Wright as Shuri, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross. The new additions to the movie include Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/Ironheart and Tenoch Huerta as Namor.
