The YRF Spy Universe is comprised of 4 films as of now. However, after the insane success of Pathaan, YRF has already commissioned 3 more films in the universe this year. But if you ask any normal Bollywood lover, a majority of them will tell you that both the Tiger films are far superior films than War and Pathan.
War and Pathan’s action spectacle and star power helped them to become a mammoth blockbuster. There are a lot of reasons behind the superiority, one is, of course, the story arc which is far more attractive than the remaining films and we can’t possibly forget the contribution of BGM to enhancing the experience.
But one major reason was the character of Katrina Kaif. Zoya is not only an ornament in the franchise but also a very very important character. She has a really nice character arc and her action scenes in Tiger Zinda Hai were truly remarkable. But we all know that Vani Kapoor was merely a digression in War and even Deepika Padukone did not have much of an impact in Pathan.
In the trailer of Tiger 3, we did not see any dialogue whatsoever by Katrina Kaif. She did not even have any appreciable action sequence displayed. However, she did have some space in the trailer of Tiger Zinda Hai. It is a terribly bad thing and if Tiger 3 comes out to be an all in all Salman Khan show then it will be even worse.
Let’s hope that the film continues to respect her character.
