Natural Star Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy is a hot cake for various OTT Platforms. The team has only released the First Look poster from the film and the demand is already touching roofs. Almost all the OTT platforms have put up their offers for the film’s Digital Rights. Sun, Star, and Zee Networks have given a bouquet offer for the digital and satellite rights combined. The makers even got some fancy offers from Third parties.
Nani is very familiar to the family audience and further, Shyam Singha Roy is a period film that piques the interest of the trade as well as the audience. “There were offers as much as 30+ Crore which means around 60% of their investment will be recovered only from non-theatrical rights (digital rights, satellite rights, and Hindi rights). But they feel the movie still has much more potential and will wait for further offers until the release of the teaser,” a source close to the production team told us.
Shyam Singha Roy shooting has entered the last leg. The final schedule is happening in a set resembling Kolkata city at the outskirts of Hyderabad. The makers are yet to take a call about its release date.
