Popular actor Matthew McConaughey will next be seen in a crime thriller. The movie is named ‘The Rivals Of Amziah King’. It will be telling the story of a mysterious crime in the countryside of Oklahoma.
Andrew Patterson is writing and directing the film. He is famous for the movie ‘The Vast Of Night’. And the film is being financed by Black Bear Pictures. Black Bear Pictures have backed many well known films like ‘The Imitation Game’ and ‘I Care A Lot’. David Heyman, Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, Jeffrey Clifford, Will Greenfield are serving as producers and Patterson top will be among the producers.
Further details about the film have not been revealed by the makers. In a press release, the makers have stated that it will be a ‘deeply atmospheric, character-focused crime thriller set against the unique backdrop of remote Oklahoma.’
Currently, Black Bear is financing Dumb Money that talks about the wall street scandal of GameStop and stars actors like Paul Dano, Sebastian Stan, Seth Rogen and Pete Davidson. It also has in the pipeline Jodie Foster’s Nyad, the horror thriller Immaculate and many others.
Matthew McConaughey is known for wonderful films like ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’, ‘Interstellar’, ‘True Detective’, ‘Dazed And Confused’ and the award winning ‘Dallas Buyer’s Club’. It will be a treat to watch him in a crime thriller now. He will possibly play a detective investigating a case.
