MCU Acknowledges Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently ruling the theatres. It has come out to be highly successful and audiences are going crazy over it. People were more excited for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning as Spider-Man from their respective universe.

Now that the epic mystery is finally out, MCU has finally recognised Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spidermen.

Marvel has officially recognised them as variants of Spider-Man. The first Spiderman came in 2002 with Tobey Maguire in the lead. In the movie, Peter Parker addresses his love interest, Mary Jane, as Your friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man.

Simply because of the fact that Mary Jane was the neighbour of Peter Parker.

The Amazing Spider-Man came in 2012 with Andrew Garfield in the lead. Two years later in 2014, the second part of The Amazing Spider-Man also came into theatres. Still, it had Andrew Garfield in the lead.

Tom Holland started playing Spider-Man in 2016. In the movie Captain America: Civil War, he played Spider-Man and continues to do so in every subsequent Marvel movie featuring Spider-Man.

Now that the audience recognises three different Spider-Men, Marvel has officially recognised the three.

On the official page of Marvel, it says three different Spider-Men. The first one simply being Spider-Man which is played by Tom Holland.
The second one is The Amazing Spider-Man that features Andrew Garfield.

The third one is that of Tobey Maguire which has been cited as Friendly Neighbourhood Spiderman.
What are your thoughts on that? Did Marvel take it too long to recognise Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield?
