The God of Thunder is ready to thunder the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a brand new battle armour in the upcoming fourth instalment of Thor. Also, we have Natalie Portman returning to her previous role of Jane Foster. And things are about to go crazier than before as the MCU fanbase will witness the live-action debut of Mighty Thor with Portman wielding the Mjolnir. Additionally, we have the perfectionist Christian Bale going one-on-one with Thor as Gorr the God Butcher.
But there is one more thing that may end up blowing your mind. A recently leaked image from Marvel hints at Thor’s new battle armour in Love and Thunder. The leaked poster looks like a tribute to the prominent The Mighty Thor comic book edition, dispatched in 1987. In the comic book, Thor endured a terrible curse from his evil sister, Hela, forcing him to don that legendary armour. Pure Asgardian steel fused with Odin’s enchantments was employed to forge that suit.
There’s no denying that Thor 4 will display some “really crazy stuff” to the fans. And when you have a helmer like Waititi behind the camera, we should expect infinite kookiness in the forthcoming MCU instalment.
Furthermore, the makers are looking to explore the bisexuality of Valkyrie, portrayed by Tessa Thompson. She has already taken her place as the ruler of New Asgard. It will be fascinating to see how Waititi steers her character in the movie. However, some rumours have surfaced on the internet, pointing out the possibility of Valkyrie romancing with Sif, the iconic Asgardian warrior, in Thor 4. The latter character had Jamie Alexander in the first two Thor entries. But we have no words of confirmation on this one.
Thor: Love and Thunder will come out in theatres on July 8 this year. It stars Chris Hemsworth in the leading role. Also, we will witness the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, and Karen Gillan, in the film.
