MCU’s 1st Series Of 2022 Moon Knight Has A Unique Origin Story

Many of you MCU fanatics (and non-fanatics as well) should have heard of this by now – Marvel is dropping another web series, titled Moon Knight. Moon Knight is also the first MCU show of the year and so, we expect the show to be as big as MCU’s other big series such as WandaVision and Loki. However, unlike most other origin projects created by Marvel – this web series has a very unique origin story. The main character has dissociative identity disorder and the show is supposed to focus on how the character will learn about his disability and how he will work to overcome his shortcomings.

Marvel has often touched on darker and tougher storylines lately such as Thor’s depression, Wanda’s grief, Loki’s loneliness, racism in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, etc. Some of them have worked, while a few have fallen flat but the fact is, they haven’t stopped trying. They are still working out the kinks of addressing different topics on screen and hopefully, they will do a good job with the upcoming Moon Knight.

With the web series expected to drop by the end of this month, Disney and Marvel have been ramping up the promos, by releasing a new one every other day on their various profiles on multiple social media platforms. Moon Knight, the character, has been highly anticipated for some time now, with the character first expected to be featured in a film instead of a TV series. Still, the enthusiasm for the show hasn’t gone down, and we expect the first episode of the show to have record views.

Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 30th March 2022. Check out the trailer for the upcoming movie below:
