Mean Girls’ Trailer Is GenZ-ish, Mean and Features Reneé Rapp

The 2004 film is indeed a mass favorite and is counted as a classic. Now, add the musical spice to it, voila! You get the trailer of 2024’s Mean Girls. Paramount is now diving into the musical fever as they drop the trailer for Mean Girls.

Reneé Rapp, known for “The Sex Lives of College Girls,” will return to Broadway as Regina George. Joining her are Auli’i Cravalho, Angourie Rice, Christopher Briney, and Jaquel Spivey.

The film was first announced in January 2020, and the major cast was announced in December 2022. Tina Fey will also be the writer of the musical, continuing her association from the first film. Arturo Perez Jr. and Samantha Jayne will also be acting as directors.

This film will also have some iconic faces returning. Names such as Fey and Meadows will make a comeback with their iconic roles.

The trailer captures the perfect Gen Z mood, is fast-paced, and indeed keeps the Mean Girls theme. There are also some dance scenes, showcasing the grandeur of the film. It also features the iconic school, giving a dose of nostalgia. It is set to be released in January 2024.
