The theatrical release of Prabhas‘s Radhe Shyam got postponed indefinitely in view of the Covid outbreak. The film is likely to be pushed to summer 2022 release. For the past few days, there have been several reports pertaining to the mode of Radhe Shyam‘s release. While a few say the film will certainly be releasing in theatres once the Covid situation subsides, others say the makers are contemplating a direct to OTT release if the right offer comes their way.
Very recently, there was a report stating that a top OTT platform is ready to offer a mouthwatering amount for the direct to OTT rights of Radhe Shyam. It was even heard that the makers are contemplating a direct to OTT release. Now, the director of Radhe Shyam, Radha Krishna Kumar has made an affirmative comment regarding the OTT rumors. When a Prabhas’s fan asked “@director_radhaa when you are gng to release the movie sir ??, Radha replied, “When we are sure that everything is fine to come to theatres.”
Radha has confirmed that Radhe Shyam will indeed be releasing in theatres once favorable situations emerge. He has indirectly shot down the direct to OTT speculations by affirming that the film will be getting a theatrical release.
Radhe Shyam is in the final leg of production now. The final copy will be readied very soon. The makers will be announcing the release date once normalcy is restored and the conditions favor new theatrical releases.
