Megan Mullaly and Nick Offerman To Join The Umbrella Academy S4

Megan Mullaly and Nick Offerman are the latest additions to the cast of The Umbrella Academy Season 4, according to Entertainment Tonight. The real-life couple will also play a married couple in the upcoming season. Apart from them, prominent comedian David Cross has also joined the cast. He will portray the character of Sy Grossman, an introverted business owner.

Mullaly revealed to ET that she and her husband would play “a mild-mannered married couple named Jean and Gene, who are college professors”. She added, “I mean, the deal’s not quite closed but let’s just pretend it is.”

The actor further disclosed that the filming would commence “in a couple of weeks”.

Offerman received critical praise for his outstanding performance as Bill in HBO’s The Last of Us. His chemistry with Murray Bartlett’s Frank was one of the series’ high points.

Both Mullaly and Offerman have established long careers in acting. The former is globally prominent for playing Karen Walker in NBC’s Will & Grace. Apart from this, the actor has appeared in various shows like Happy Endings, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, Up All Night, and many more. She has also acted in features like The Kings of Summer (2013), Why Him? (2016), and many more. Her husband’s breakthrough role also came in Parks and Recreation, where he played Ron Swanson. He also landed his voice in films like The Lego Movie series, the Sing franchise, Ice Age: Collision Course (2016), and many more.
