The official teaser for Vijay Sethupathi’s next film ‘Michael’ is out now. The film is written and directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi and stars Vijay Sethupathi and Sundeep Kishan. The Tamil language film is being produced by the companies Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Karan C Productions.
The teaser is gritty and full of violence. Sethupathi has owned all the gangster characters he has played before. There is no doubt that this time will be no exception. The visuals are great and the colour grading has been done wonderfully. The music adds much flavour to the teaser. It has been composed by the one and only Sam CS, so there will be great groovy background music in this film too like ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Vikram Vedha’.
Ranjit Jeyakodi is known for writing and directing films like ‘Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum’, ‘Pizza 2’, ‘Yaarukkum Anjael’ etc. On the other hand Vijay Sethupathi is a known face around every corner in India.
‘Michael‘ will be released in 5 Indian languages which are Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, which makes the movie truly pan-Indian, then there is Sethupathi’s stardom and Sam CS’s music adding more elements that make it a potential blockbuster. The movie was slated for release in December 2022 but it has probably been postponed now. The release date will be unveiled with the official trailer itself.
This is a huge opportunity for Sundeep Kishan and most probably Vijay Sethupathi will be in another blockbuster hit after so many back to back grand successes. Make sure to watch this gangster thriller when it hits the theaters.
