An upcoming slasher movie has been announced and it has made the fans of the genre beaming with excitement. The production house Untouchables Entertainment has signed a deal with iHorror, which is a genre website, for the production of a film like never before. The movie is titled ‘Mickey VS Winnie’ and it will be the crossover of Winnie The Pooh and Steamboat Willie.
The movie will be directed by Glenn Douglas Packard, who is working on the screenplay now. The movie will be from his original screenplay.
‘Mickey VS Winnie’ tells the story of two convicted criminals who escape the prison and flee to a jungle and are subjected to some dark supernatural elements there. A long time passes and a group of adventurous friends come to the forest and search for a shelter. They are soon confronted by the criminals who now take the form of the childhood favourites Winnie The Pooh and Mickey Mouse. The friends try to escape from the ferocious murderers and a gruesome episode of bloodshed follows.
The director has said, “Horror fans call for the thrill of witnessing icons like the new Aliens and Avengers sharing the screen. While licensing nightmares make such crossovers rare, Mickey Vs Winnie serves as our tribute to that thrilling fantasy.”
