Trailer for Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Mili’ is here and this survival thriller is pretty chilling. Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, ‘Mili’ is a remake of director’s own Malayalam film ‘Helen’ and will release in theatres on 4th November, 2022.
What begins as an adorable tale of a simple girl Mili Naudiyal (Janhvi Kapoor) living with her father (Manoj Pahwa), aspiring to go to Canada for a bright future and a loving boyfriend (Sunny Kaushal) soon turns into one dramatic thrilling tale when she goes missing one night after her shift at a restaurant.
While her loved ones are doing all they can to find her, Mili is stuck inside a freezer whose temperature is going down with time. The film then follows the events that unfold both inside and outside the freezer. On one hand Mili is wrapping herself with tape, banging the doors and doing all that she can to survive in the freezer, it’s getting mysterious and more tense by the minute for family and friends on the outside. Will the police find her or will Mili succumb to the freezing cold!
Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, ‘Mili’ is a survival thriller drama that follows the story of a young woman stuck in a freezer fighter for her life. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal, Manoj Pahwa, Hasleen Kaur, Rajesh Jais, Vikram Kochhar, Anurag Arora and Sunjay Suri.
A.R. Rahman has composed the music for ‘Mili’ with lyrics from Javed Akhtar. The film is produced by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor in association with Bayview Projects. ‘Mili’ will release in theatres on 4th November and will stream later on Netflix.
