“Mirzapur” Creators To Remake The Irish Drama “Blood” For Disney+ Hotstar

On Monday, streaming platform Disney+ Hostar announced the Indian rendition of the IFTA-winning Irish series ”Blood”. The Indian version of this thriller-mystery show will be bankrolled by Dreamers & Doers Co, a premium content studio owned by Reliance Entertainment, in association with All3Media International, under the Hotstar Specials label. Widely acclaimed ”Mirzapur” helmers Gurmmeet Singh and Mihir Desai will be the showrunner and director of this show.
Created by Sophie Petzal, the series is an intimate family drama and psychological thriller, starring Adrian Dunbar (“Line of Duty”) and Grainne Keenan (“The Wife”) in the pivotal characters. “Blood” revolves around familiar bonds, past secrets, betrayal, and the truth that the family members are keeping away from each other that’s having an impact on their present.

Recently Disney+Hotstar had an epic success with “Rudra: The Edge of Darkness,” the Indian rendition of “Luther,” featuring bollywood star Ajay Devgn.
