Several films have skipped their theatrical release and got onto some OTT platform or the other during the Coronavirus Lockdown. However, the major complaint with these releases is that the filmmakers dust their hands after pocketing the money and do not care to promote the film. The OTT Platforms promote the films but that is barely enough due to the lack of co-operation from the stars
However, the makers of Miss India do not want to do that. We do not know if that is on the terms of the agreement but the makers are going to unleash a massive promotional blitzkrieg for the movie in the coming days. Miss India is all set to have its Digital Premiere from November 4th.
Miss India is the story of Samyukhta Manasa (Keerthy Suresh), a young passionate girl who, in an attempt to fulfill her childhood ambition, moves to the USA, setting up a successful business in tea. In the process, she goes head to head against the illustrious coffee honcho (Jagapathi Babu), while fighting betrayals, adversaries, and resistance from her own family. Keerthy Suresh earlier failed to impress the audience with her maiden OTT release, Penguin. It has to be seen if she will be successful at least now.
