Missing Reacher? A Similar Series Set To Stream On Disney+ Hotstar

The second season of Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Reacher’ starring Alan Ritchson concluded some time back with an action-packed finale. The show, which follows the daredevil adventures of former military investigator/tracker Jack Reacher, has got a big thumbs-up from critics and audiences.

Now that ‘Reacher Season-2’ is over, fans are eagerly waiting for the show’s third season. Until Reacher Season-3 arrives, you can check out another new show which is rather reminiscent of Prime Video’s ‘Reacher’ in some ways. We are talking about a show called ‘Tracker’. And it’s not just the title which is similar to ‘Reacher’, but the show’s lead character and underlying plot/format reminds us of the superhit Prime Video series.

‘Tracker’ is a crime drama series which follows the story of a lone-wolf survivalist Colter Shaw (played by Justin Hartley). The protagonist travels across the country and uses his excellent tracking skills to help people and the law enforcement solve various tricky cases while dealing with his own personal problems.

So, both Colter Shaw and Jack Reacher are mavericks who like to work alone, travel a lot, and solve other people’s problems in their own ways. Although the nature of their missions and modus-operandi are different. Until now, ‘Tracker’ currently holds a critics’ score of 83% on reviews aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes. And like ‘Reacher’, ‘Tracker’ also derives its inspiration from a book. ‘Tracker’ is based on Jeffery Deaver’s best-selling novel ‘The Never Game’.

‘Tracker’ is set to start streaming in India on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform from today onwards. You can watch the show’s trailer below in case you plan to watch it.
