The adorable, heartwarming and much-loved Amazon Prime Video anthology series ‘Modern Love’ is all set to return for its Season 2. Fans of the series will be delighted to know that Modern Love Season 2 arrives worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on 13th August. For those not in the know, Modern Love is an eight-part anthology series, based on the New York Times’ column of the same name. Each episode of the anthology is adapted from one installment of the Modern Love column, bringing alive its stories of love, relationships and human connections. The series picks up the NYT column’s best known stories to be brought to life in the anthology.
Modern Love Season 2 is written, directed and exec-produced by John Carney, who had written and helmed Season 1 too. Season 2 also consists of eight, half-hour episodes, just like Season 1.
The cast for the new season is as eclectic as it was for Modern Love Season 1. While Modern Love Season 1 was set in the backdrop of New York City, the stories in Season 2 traverse other American cities, Albany, New York City, Schenectady, and Troy, New York, as well as international locations such as Dublin, Ireland.
