Known for their successful collaboration on the ‘Drishyam’ franchise, legendary actor Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph have come together for a new project titled ‘Neru’ and the film has now got a release date.
The release date for ‘Neru’ has been announced today with a poster where Mohanlal is seen in an intense avatar sitting with multiple books surrounding him. The background features a book shelf.
‘Neru’ marks is the fifth association between Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph who have earlier worked on ‘Drishyam’ franchise, ‘12th Man’ and the upcoming film ‘Ram: Part 1’.
Touted to be a legal drama, ‘Neru’ is directed by Jeethu Joseph who has co-written it with Santhi Maya Devi. Other than Mohanlal, the film stars an ensemble cast that includes Priyamani, Anaswara Rajan, Ganesh Kumar, and Jagadish among others.
Satheesh Kurup is the cinematographer for ‘Neru’ with editing by VS Vinayak and music from Vishnu Shyam. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas banner, ‘Neru’ will release in theatres on 21st December, 2023.
