Squid Game created an unprecedented record of having the maximum watch hours on Netflix. The show is immensely popular and definitely created a new benchmark for success.
But you must have heard about Netflix’s top 10. They calculate maximum watch hours and rank their content according to the same. The mega-popular Spanish drama La Casa De Papel aka Money Heist seems to beat Squid Game in total watch hours.
We already know that the final volume of Money Heist was released on 3rd December. It was a goodbye from the show and all we can see from it will be Berlín. The makers have announced a new spin-off show called Berlín that will premiere in 2023.
As of the latest data on Netflix top 10, Money Heist part 5 is trending on number 1. With 147,950,000 watch hours, the Spanish drama is occupying its space.
Similarly, the first part of Money Heist is also trending but on number three. Adding to that, the second part is on the tenth spot.
But Squid Game is maintaining its position on number four with 18,170K hours viewed.
So if we add the total views, it amounts to a whopping 175,990,000 hours of views and Squid Game is nowhere close to that.
So, that’s how Money Heist is beating Squid Game.
