Hardcore Money Heist fans are aware that their beloved show is getting remade in Korea by the name of Money Heist: Korea Joint Economic Area.
The first season will be dropping on the platform on the 24th of June and the trailer is now out. We have the same feelings for this trailer as we had after watching that of Laal Singh Chaddha.
Quite obviously it is an official adaptation but if something looks like a frame to frame copy then it does not remain interesting anymore. The same is the case with Money Heist: Korea Joint Economic Area.
The teaser promised that it will be grander than the original Spanish series as it discusses the turbulent politics of North and South Korea.
But in the trailer, there is absolutely nothing new apart from the Korean factor. This may not be a big deal per se but it is indeed terrible for the show.
Since it offers nothing new, it is tough for the series to generate views from those who have watched the original Money Heist. And the number of such viewers is astounding.
Regardless, the series has Yoo Ji-Tae playing the role of Professor and Kim Yun-jin who’ll play the role of Inspector Raquel Murillo.
Apart from them, it stars Park Hae-soo as Berlin, Jun Jong-Seo as Tokyo, Lee Won-jong as Moscow, Kim Ji-hun as Denver, Jang Yoon-Ju as Nairobi, Lee Hyun-woo as Rio, Kim Ji-hoon as Helsinki and Lee Kyu-ho as Oslo.
