Prime Video India has announced a new Indian stand-up comedy special, this time with the king of comedy, Biswa Kalyan Rath. The comedy special is titled ‘Mood Kharaab’, and it will premiere on Prime Video worldwide on 5th May, which is this Friday.
Biswa Kalyan Rath’s comedy special comes fresh on the heels of Prime Video India’s recent stand-up comedy successes, Rahul Subramaniam’s ‘Rahul Talks To People’, and Anubhav Singh Bassi’s ‘Bas Kar Bassi’. Biswa Kalyan Rath’s other stand-up comedy specials on Prime Video India include ‘Biswa Mast Aadmi’ and ‘Sushi’.
For those who don’t know, Biswa Kalyan Rath is one of the foremost and most popular stand-up comedians in the country. His new stand-up comedy special ‘Mood Kharaab’ follows in the same vein as his other specials, including his trademark rant style. In ‘Mood Kharaab’, he rants against everything from online shopping to fairy tales and childhood frustration to the Metaverse, and everything else that irritates him in the world.
‘Mood Kharaab’ has been shot in London. It is directed by Biswa’s fellow comedian and close friend, Kanan Gill. Biswa Kalyan Rath’s new Prime Video comedy special is produced by OML Productions, as part of their ongoing content deal with the streaming giant.
‘Mood Kharaab’ premieres on Prime Video India on 5th May, which is this Friday.
