MrBeast’s Prime Video Game Show Might Bring YouTube Content To OTT

YouTube is evolving, and the content there is demanding more attention. Consequently, more names are encroaching on the OTT space. In Indian content, companies such as TVF and Filter Copy have been doing this for ages. Even JioCinema has been supportive of YouTube creators.

In the West, the distinction is fading. MrBeast is emerging as a savior. His new Prime Video game show might be revolutionary and bring OTT and YouTube audiences together.

The prize pool for the entire show is as big as $5M, and a recent tweet from MrBeast suggests that he will be needing 5,000 contestants.

It is being advertised that this will be the biggest game show on OTT ever, even bigger than Netflix’s “Squid Game,” which was, until now, the biggest game show on OTT.

How will this affect the OTT space going forward?

An event like this will definitely encourage OTT platforms to focus on the stars of YouTube. Netflix is already streaming the boxing bouts of YouTubers, especially the Jake Paul event. If Prime Video enters the race, we will definitely see more events like these in the near future.
