Zee5 global Zindagi is all set to come up with another one-of-a-kind love story that transcends all the coherent ideas that are laid down by our society. Starring distinguished Pakistani actors Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz, this web series will be streaming from 11 March 2022 on Zee5. This show is directed by the notable director Kashif Nisar, known for his famous work on Aatish E Ishq and O Rangreza, and is written by the playwright Sajjad Gul. It revolves around two contrasting characters, Shameem a guy who exhibits feminine exuberance, and Umaina, a visually striking and daring girl. It shows how two individuals connect and grow together on the foundation of love respect and companionship despite their strikingly different personalities.
The story is set on unconventional grounds, surpassing the age-old barriers of gender and the societal norms on how a particular person should behave. A man is never expected to be delicate and sensitive and women can’t be bold and outspoken. This story truly shreds down all the rash judgment and perceptions of our society. Shameem is not the admirable hero that we generally see on the silver screen. He is soft-hearted, kind, and sympathetic but is made fun of and perceived as “effeminate” by his friends and society.
“Mrs. and Mr. Shameem” is one of Zindagi’s latest original series that was announced by Zee5 during the relaunch of Zindagi in 2020. Apart from directing the show, Kasif Nisar has also funded this project in association with Misbah Shafique. The series features 20 episodes.
