The first trailer for the upcoming Hindi film ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is finally out. The film releases in theatres across India on 17th March, 2023. ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is headlined by Rani Mukerji, who plays the titular Mrs Chatterjee in the film.
‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is a semi-fictional account of the true-life incident that happened in 2011 with an Indian family, whose kids were taken away by Norway’s child welfare system. The trailer of ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ depicts the incidents in a poignant way, with Rani Mukerji suitably cast in the role of a Bengali woman, who’s mother to two young kids.
At first bewildered with the weird system in Norway that causes her to lose her kids, Rani Mukerji’s Mrs Chatterjee later turns into a tigress who fights to get back custody of the two young kids. Anirban Bhattacharya, Neena Gupta and Jim Sarbh play other pivotal characters in ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’.
The film is directed by Ashima Chibber, and written by her along with Rahul Handa and Sameer Satija. ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is produced by Zee Studios and Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment.
