The upcoming live-action animation movie ‘Mufasa’ just came with a huge update. The Hindi version of the movie will be voiced by Shahrukh Khan and his two sons.
‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ will be a prequel to ‘The Lion King’ that will tell how Mufasa rose to the position of the king. Shahrukh Khan’s voice will be used for the older Mufasa, whereas the younger version will have his son AbRam’s voice. Aryan Khan will give the voice to Simba. Shahrukh and Aryan have previously voiced these two characters in ‘The Lion King’ that came out in 2019. The Hindi version was very popular in India, Shahrukh and Aryan’s voice-acting were accepted with love by fans.
The star has said, “Mufasa has an incredible legacy and stands as the ultimate king of the jungle, imparting his wisdom to his son, Simba. I deeply relate to him as a father and also resonate with Mufasa’s journey in the film.”
The English version has actors like Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., John Kani, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Donald Glover and Thandiwe Newton. The movie will tell how Mufasa, an orphaned cub, gets lost in the jungle and finds refuge with Taka and his family. Taka is the rightful heir to the throne and his family is not very accepting of Mufasa at first. But the clan is attacked by outsiders and everything changes very soon.
‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ will be releasing on the 10th of December.
