On the 12th anniversary of the drastic 26/11 attacks which happened in Mumbai 2008, Amazon Prime Video has released an official teaser for their upcoming web series which has been titled ‘Mumbai Diaries 26/11‘. The teaser follows the events which happened that night and how the frontline workers handled the situation.
The series vows to be different from rest of the content we have seen based on this story, since every other show or movie focused on either the Police officials on how they caught the terrorists or on the terrorists themselves on how they entered the city and put their plan into the act. Instead of focusing on the army officials, the show takes a different route and will be showcasing the bravery and efforts that the Doctors and medical staff put into the situations which occurred that night.
In the teaser we see the attacked civilians being taken into the hospital. With the condition worsening more people start to come in, the doctors find it hard to make sense of the situation. In this chaos, Mohit Raina plays a senior official of a hospital who probably is in charge. He too is terrified of the situation but has to take serious decisions for the safety of the people and with each second, the tension increases and with each minute a new case arrives.
The series follows the frontline responders and how under tremendous pressure they worked relentlessly for the society.
Amazon Prime Video announced that the series will be arriving in March 2021.
