The film, as shown in the trailer, set in the times when Mumbai was still called Bombay and was known for its violence, follows the story of a powerful gangster, Amartya Rao (John) who rose from the streets and aims to rule the city. Amartya is responsible for the cold- blooded murder of a reputed industralist.
It’ll not be easy for Rao because a self made cop, who rose from the ghettos of Bombay is tracking each of Rao’s step. The cop (Emraan) has only two objective – stopped Rao at all costs and acquire 10 crores, reward announced for any man who shoots Rao in the head.
‘Mumbai Saga’ is all set for its theatrical release on 19th March 2021. This gangster drama has been written and directed by Sanjay Gupta and stars John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Sunil Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Mahesh Manjrekar, Gulshan Grover, Prateik Babbar, Andrew Rohit Bose Roy among others. This project will be the first time that John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi will be seen opposite each other.
